Terms of Use
Last updated: October 5, 2026
These terms apply to the website pejava.com and to the online services of PejavaCommander: the account, settings sync, update checks and downloads (“the Services”). The app itself is licensed under the License Agreement, which also sets who may use it for free and who needs a paid license.
PejavaCommander is made by Roman Khomyakov (“we”, “us”). Contact: privacy@pejava.com.
1. Accepting the terms
By using the website or the Services you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Services; the app works without an account.
2. Your account
- You sign in with GitHub or Google. You are responsible for that account and for everything done with your PejavaCommander account.
- One person, one account. Do not share your account or use someone else’s.
- You can delete your account at any time: Settings → Account → Delete Account.
3. Settings sync
Sync stores your plugins, settings, keyboard shortcuts and palettes so you can restore them. It is a convenience, not a backup: keep your own copies of anything important. We may limit the size of synced data and plugin packages (currently 1 MB of settings and 20 MB per plugin package).
Do not upload plugin packages you have no right to share, and nothing illegal or malicious. Packages are private to your account.
4. Acceptable use
Do not:
- break, overload or probe the Services (except responsible security research reported to us);
- use the Services to distribute malware or to infringe anyone’s rights;
- get around license checks, plan status or limits;
- use automated means to create accounts or to download in bulk.
5. Donations and the Supporter status
- Donations are voluntary and are made through GitHub Sponsors under GitHub’s terms. Refunds are handled by GitHub’s rules; a donation is otherwise non-refundable.
- A donation of $1 or more makes your account a Supporter: the free version’s reminders and messages are turned off on all your computers. The status does not expire.
- A donation is not a corporate license. Organizations need a paid license under the License Agreement — see Pricing.
6. Paid licenses
Corporate licenses will be sold through Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the seller and issues the invoice. The price, the subscription period and cancellation are shown at checkout and on the Pricing page.
7. Plugins from other people
Plugins that are not built into the app are made by their authors. We do not check or guarantee them; install only plugins you trust.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Services running but do not promise that they will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop a Service; if we stop settings sync, we will give at least 30 days’ notice so you can keep your data. The app keeps working without the Services.
9. Ending access
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. You can stop using the Services at any time and delete your account.
10. No warranty, limitation of liability
THE WEBSITE AND THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT DAMAGES OR LOSS OF DATA OR PROFITS ARISING FROM THEIR USE. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be limited.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will publish the new version on this page with a new date; important changes will also be announced in the app. If you keep using the Services after that, the new terms apply.
12. Privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
